How to Laya Spa
Laya Spa Cancellation Policy:
To help serve our clients better and in fairness to our staff, we ask that in the event that you need to cancel or change your appointment please do so within a 24hr window. We do not accept email and voicemail cancellations outside our 24 hour window unless they are made during spa hours. This will allow other clients a chance to get in for an appointment should you no longer be free to keep yours. A 50% charge will be applied to the client credit card in the event that our cancellation policy is not met.
***A 100% Cancellation Fee will be applied to all RMT massage services that are not cancelled with 24hrs notice***
Cancellations or appointment changes for bookings that are longer than two hours or for more that one person we require notice of 48hrs to avoid our cancellation fees.
All appointment must be made with a credit card, the credit card is not charge unless our policies are not met
We do not refund services and gift certificates
Consumable items and accessories from our boutiques are non-refundable. Store credit may be provided on some items.
Late for your appointment:
In the event that you are late for your appointment we will do what ever is in our means to ensure that you are able to have all of your services. If we have clients booked immediately after your appointment we may have to shorten your appointment or have another esthetician complete the service
Part of what makes us different is that we believe in creating a serene and calm ambiance and experience for our clients. Please remember that many clients come to the spa to relax and remove themselves from the constant noise that life sometimes presents us with. We ask that you please respect the experience of other clients by maintaining a low voice and silencing your cell phone when in the spa.
Please take note that we do not have a designated male/female change room. Our locker area is co-ed with separate cubbies where you are able to change
We recommend that you spend no longer that 30 mins in the steam room
We ask that you please shower before you steam
The front desk will provide you with a complimentary towel to use while you steam, if you require an additional towel, there will be a $2 fee. You are welcome to bring your own towel if need be.
Please ensure to bring a bathing suit for your steam session as our steam room is co-ed, we do have locker facilities to lock up your personal belongings
Drink plenty of water while steaming
Do not steam if the following applies to you:
- You are pregnant
- Suffer from High/Low Blood pressure
- Have a heart condition
- Are elderly, sick or frail
- Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol
(Please consult a physician if you are unsure or have a serious health condition)
Shoe free policy:
In order to maintain a clean and sanitary space we ask that you please remove your shoes before walking through the spa. The front desk will help to find an appropriate slipper size when needed and stow away your shoes.
Lost or misplaced items:
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings
Laya Spa does have a lost and found incase you have forgotten an item
Forms of payment:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Debit, Way Spa Gift Certificates, SpaFinder Gift Certificates and Cash (We no longer accept WaySpa Gift Cards for RMT Massage services)
We do not accept Cheques
